DIY Fridge Magnets (10 Pcs) - Mandala Art

This DIY Fridge Magnet - Mandala Art gives children a creative way to colour, personalise and display their own artwork. With 10 detailed mandala designs, the activity encourages children to slow down, focus on patterns and colours, and enjoy hands-on creative play away from screens.

What Makes This Mandala Art Kit Special?

The detailed patterns make this more than a simple colouring activity, giving children plenty of room to experiment with colours and create artwork in their own style.

• 10 mandala designs: Children can explore different patterns and create a unique colour combination for each design.
• Encourages focused creativity: Working through detailed patterns gives children an opportunity to concentrate on one creative activity at a time.
• Create and personalise: Children can choose their own colours and make each mandala design their own.
• Practise fine motor skills: Colouring smaller patterns and handling the magnet pieces encourages controlled hand movements and hand-eye coordination.
• Turn artwork into magnets: Finished designs can be displayed on a fridge or another suitable magnetic surface, allowing children to enjoy their creations after the activity.

Ways Children Can Explore With It

Mandala art can become a simple creative routine that encourages children to experiment, focus and express themselves.

• Experiment with colour combinations: Encourage your child to try different colours and patterns instead of following a fixed colour scheme.
• Focus on one design: Let your child complete one mandala at their own pace without rushing to finish all the designs.
• Create repeating patterns: Talk about shapes, symmetry and repeated elements as your child colours each design.
• Talk about their choices: Ask which colours they chose and what they like most about their finished artwork.
• Build a creative display: Place the completed magnets together to create a colourful display on a suitable magnetic surface.
