DIY Fridge Magnet (10 Pcs) - World Explorer

The DIY Fridge Magnet - World Explorer Theme gives children a creative way to explore the world through hands-on making. As they create and decorate their own magnets, children can engage with travel-inspired designs while practising creativity, observation and fine motor skills, then display their finished creations on a fridge or magnetic surface.

What Makes This World Explorer Kit Special?

The World Explorer theme combines a creative DIY activity with a simple introduction to the idea of discovering different places and cultures.

• Explore through creativity: The travel-inspired theme gives children a fun starting point for imagining places they would like to discover.
• Make your own magnets: Children can create and decorate their own fridge magnets instead of simply playing with a finished product.
• Build fine motor skills: Handling, arranging and working with the craft components encourages controlled hand movements and coordination.
• Encourage observation: Children can look closely at the different designs and details while deciding how to create their magnets.
• Turn creativity into something tangible: Once completed, the magnets can be displayed and enjoyed as part of the child's creative work.

Ways Children Can Explore With It

The World Explorer theme creates plenty of opportunities to extend the activity beyond simply making the magnets.

• Talk about places: Ask your child what places they recognise and which destinations they would like to explore someday.
• Create a travel story: Encourage your child to imagine a journey and describe where they would go and what they might see.
• Make and display: Let your child arrange the finished magnets on a magnetic surface and create their own little travel-inspired display.
• Look for visual details: Talk about colours, shapes, objects and other details while your child works on the designs.
• Connect it with real-world exploration: After finishing the activity, explore a map, book or photographs together and discover something new about a place that interests your child.
